The download includes a setup file that installs the Color Palette, Help Files and Templates for the respective applications. Once the Setup <App Name>.exe file is installed, a folder titled PerfectSend Files is placed on your C drive. Inside this folder, additional folders for the Help Files and Templates can be found. The Color Palette is automatically installed into the respective applications.
The Job Templates are files for the respective applications that provide a starting point for your print project. Included are templates for letterhead, envelope, business card, Fold-R-Cards, Tel-A-Dex, Hang-AD and announcements. The use of these templates are NOT required. They are provided as a convenience.
The Help Files are provided in HTML format and can be viewed using your Internet Browser. These help articles provide the steps for creating EPS and PS files using the respective applications. Please keep in mind, these are the steps for creating files in the respective applications and not the requirements for PerfectSend.
PPD files are used by several of the applications as a method of defining options for various printers. We have included a PPD for PerfectSend to simplify the creation of files. The PPD is automatically installed for the applications that utilize them.
